In my career, I have been an actor, theatre director, and TV AND FILM WRITER, working on shows such as THIS LIFE, AS IF, MONARCH OF THE GLEN, EASTENDERS and the award winning feature film, GET REAL.

I’ve coached TOP ACTORS in comic timing and nerve control and woven stories with HUMOUR and ROMANCE. I can do the same for you. I’ve been using my skills to write wedding speeches and coach presentations for the last TEN YEARS.

Fine Tune!

Send me the speech you have already written, and I will use my script writing expertise to read and analyse it. Then we will discuss potential changes. Based on our discussion I will then use my years of creating stories with emotion and humour to polish and edit the speech to give it STAR quality.
Silver Service!

I will send you a form with a few questions for you to fill in so I can get a handle on your connection to the wedding and your requirements. This will enable me to decide how to make your speech a STAR turn. We will then speak either online or in person and I will make suggestions as to how the speech may go. Then I’ll write the speech from scratch, using your material to tell your story just as I would if writing words for a TV star. We can then have further discussions about what you are and are not happy with until we get it right.

As well as being a television writer I am also a West End Director, so you will receive everything mentioned in the Silver Service package, but also up to three hour long online sessions in which I will coach you in the presentation of the speech to make you a STAR!
LGBT+

Love is love! The day marriage was legalised for LGBT people was one of the happiest of my life. I love nothing more than to help LGBT couples and their friends and families make their speeches the very best they can be.
I have been writing LGBT stories and characters for TV (in Casualty, Holby City, This Life, East Enders, Monarch of The Glen, as well as the award-winning movie Get Real based on my play, What’s Wrong With Angry? long before such things became mainstream and certainly long before we could get married! I feed this vast experience of the gay world and what it means to be LGBT into the speeches I write.
Bespoke Poems

Poetry is a way to say how we feel in a meaningful, lasting way. Rather than a speech I can use my professional expertise and vast experience of working with verse plays for the theatre (especially Shakespeare) to craft a totally original poem, avoiding the usual clichés, for you to recite and wow everyone by hitting just the right note.
